Joan Michelson is a dual citizen, originally from the States. She has lived her adult years in England. She wrote in various forms until turning her focus almost exclusively to poetry at the end of the 1990’s. Since then she has published several chapbooks and two full collections.
She is currently working on two complimentary sequences towards new collections. One treats a neighbourhood community. The other is creating poems from found texts.
